Über die Veranstaltung
How does an idea become a format for public service broadcasting? In this workshop, ARD Kultur editor Ineke Hagedorn offers insights into her work through the documentary series “Beyond Fashion”, which she previously helped produce at VICE on behalf of ARD Kultur.
Using the series as a case study, she explains how a format is developed, who is involved in bringing it to life, and how a broadcaster’s editorial team and a production company collaborate in practice. Participants will explore how creative, organisational and financial decisions shape the final result.
The workshop offers a realistic look at day-to-day work in the industry and invites participants to discuss the creative and ethical challenges of developing and producing audiovisual formats.
