Identity in Motion – Typography as Stop-Motion Animation

Part I

To introduce the topic and provide inspiration, a selection of short stop-motion animations will be presented. Participants will then develop their own typographic elements while experimenting with various printing and design techniques.

Part II

Participants will receive a step-by-step introduction to the fundamentals of stop-motion techniques and create their first animations using stamps.

Part III

The participants’ individual contributions will be combined into a collaborative work that makes different perspectives visible and reflects the diversity of the group. The resulting terms will tell stories of identity, solidarity, and social diversity.
