Rebecca Jahn | Director

Rebecca Jahn, born in 1998 and raised in Freiburg, discovered her passion for feminist themes, female perspectives, and strong female characters during her first degree in Media and Cultural Studies at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. After successfully completing vocational training as a media designer for image and sound, she decided to study film at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, specializing in directing and screenwriting.
In her recent works Die kleinen Dinge and Systemfehler, she has focused strongly on the lives of single mothers and the beautiful as well as challenging moments of everyday life that come with them. Her main goal is to strengthen the visibility of women and, in doing so, help increase their relevance and influence within the film industry.
