Director Statement
With HOME we want to shine a light on deportation and the effect it has on the individual. Also we want to show the need for solidarity and engage the audience in empathy and the re-evaluation of their conception of rights and values. Even though we tell a German story, the topic unfortunately translates to other countries, cultures and identities.
