About the event
The Opening Forum of the 6th RETURN International Film & Art Festival brings together media and film professionals, artists, students, cultural institutions and civil society representatives at the Sendehalle in Weimar.
Inspired by the festival theme “Identity – Who Do We Become?”, the forum explores the significance of media and cultural spaces for social dialogue, participation and democratic public life. The history and transformation of the Sendehalle provide a starting point for imagining the future of these spaces together.

14:00–14:40 | Guided Historical Tour of the Sendehalle
Martin Kranz, founder and chair of the Stiftung Sendehalle Weimar, guides participants through the venue and introduces its history as a place of media communication and social transformation.
