Workshop Overview
The IDENTITY MATTERS! Opening Forum of the 6th RETURN International Film & Art Festival brings together media and film professionals, artists, students, cultural institutions and civil society representatives at the Sendehalle in Weimar.
Inspired by the festival theme “Identity – Who Do We Become?”, the forum explores how media and cultural spaces contribute to social dialogue, participation and democratic public life.
The programme includes a historical tour of the Sendehalle with Martin Kranz, a curated selection of short films from previous RETURN festivals, and a moderated discussion on shaping and revitalising cultural and media spaces together. Participants are invited to share their perspectives, develop ideas and build connections for future collaborations.
The forum concludes with snacks, drinks and informal networking.
