Workshop Overview
ARD Kultur editor Ineke Hagedorn talks about her work in public broadcasting and presents the format "Beyond Fashion" as a best-case study — a project she previously co-oversaw as a producer at VICE, commissioned by ARD Kultur.
Using the documentary series as an example, she shows how a format comes into being, which players are involved in its realisation, and how collaboration between a broadcaster's editorial team and a production company works in practice. This makes particularly clear how creative, organisational and economic factors interact and shape the final result.
Alongside a realistic insight into everyday working life, participants have the opportunity to jointly discuss the creative and ethical challenges involved in developing and realising audiovisual formats.
Participants: Maximum 12 participants
Target Group: Film beginners/newcomers, students with a media background
